Sponsorships Sponsorships Minimize

When we mention sponsorships, the tendancy is to conjure up an image of the company who spends megabucks to become The official widget of the Summer Olympics. While we welcome product endorsement sponsorships, we believe that there are many other creative opportunities for you to associate your name with that of the Coosa Valley Fair. First, some ground rules. When we first decided to offer a sponsorship program we decided to make it very affordable for local firms to participate. If a sponsor does not know for sure that they are getting their moneys worth, we do not want to pressure them to participate. Sponsors are encouraged to carve out their own niche of the Fair which they want to associate with. Here are a few suggestions:

ADOPT A VENUE

We have quite a few nice exhibit spaces but they are somewhat dull. Adopt one of these venues, associate your firm name with whatever goes on there and place semi-permanent signage and advertising as appropriate. For competitive venues, Award ribbons could have your logo. Venues available include:

  • The Kiddie Land Area
  • Livestock Show
  • Junior Livestock Show
  • Homemaking
  • Needlework Exhibition
  • Culinary Exhibits
  • Clothing Exhibits
  • Porcelain Arts exhibit
  • Art Program
  • Photography Exhibits
  • Educational Exhibits
  • Flower Show
  • Any part of any of our venues

DESIGNATED DAY AT THE FAIR

You adopt the Fair for one of the days we operate. The Fair that day would be refereed to as [Firm Name] Day at the Coosa Valley Fair in all of our literature and other advertising. At each entrance gate a sign saying Welcome to [Firm Name] Day at the Coosa Valley Fair greets visitors. A similar sign will be seen as they exit the gate and the parking lot. On your designated day, you may have other promotions (Gate prizes, drawings, product samples, Ad Specialties Give-Aways, costumed characters, etc) to add prominence to the day. Designated Day sponsors are also encouraged to tie in some pre-fair special promotion for their business. (Ticket Give-Aways, etc.). Appropriate costs associated with those promotions count toward sponsorship fees.

EVENT SPONSORS

We have a number of special promotions designed to attract visitors on a given day and time or to serve special segments of the population. You simply associate your name with these promotions. Examples of Special Promotions in the past include:

  • Pre-Opening Special ($5.00 per Carload)
  • Cheer leading Competition
  • Arm band Discounts
  • Children%27s Programs
  • Senior Day Events
  • Saturday Morning Special Admission

OTHER IDEAS

What about specials aimed at specific demographics like seniors, youth, etc. You certainly have much better feel for the type of audience you want to reach. Let us help you reach them.

FRIENDS OF THE FAIR

This category is ideal for sponsors who benefit from broad association with the Fair but who do not want to be linked to a specific area like those discussed above. All sponsors from the above categories would be listed as Friends of the Fair, corresponding with their level of participation. This is a tiered sponsorship with benefits corresponding to the value of each sponsor%27s participation. Each level gets the benefits of the lower category plus those listed for that level:

Friend $ 100.00 Contribution

  1. Listing on all Friends of the Fair Lists. These lists are prominently mounted on Gate Boards at each entrance and exit and are included on the Official Fair Map given to each visitor at the ticket booth and available on the internet. If they sign up by the publication deadline, they are also included in the Fair Brochure used to promote the Fair.
  2. Year-long listing in the Friends of the Fair page on the CVF Web Page
